Nautical Simplicity - Outtake

I think the simplicity of this image would be improved without all the detail of the buildings on the shore.
Possibly I should clone or layer in something more simple.

It's still pretty simple, but that would make it simpler.

I wonder if you cropped it just slightly so the boat was just a LITTLE closer and layered a sky very the horizon.

But nice. Love the color of the sails and water, an interesting cotrast.

Of course, I am looking at the ociture on TINY TOBY--the size would probably be perfect on a normal computer, LOL!

I think if I was to bring the boat closer I would need to buzz it or something as I don't think it can stand being enlarged much. I'll put it in the TO DO file.

It may not need it--my fault for being on Tiny TOBY, sorry!!!! If I ever get a bigger laptop, I'll give you ore accurate feedback!

I shall wait until you get to Detroit before I try any drastic changes! LOL! You know you can pick up a cheap desktop for a fiver but I wouldn't want you to have something else to get rid of before you move!

AK--I am trying to get RID of stuff, nto acquire stuff.

It's hard for me to judge size stuff on TOby, but I'm not going back to Detroit immediate;y

I like the fact that most of the frame is occupied by the water, and the boat appears only at the far end. Quite an unusual frame.
This is an interesting blog, why don't you update it more often?

It was a group project with some friends and everyone seems to have lost interest. We now are working on Photique 2008--but that one doesn't have quite the same emphasis. COme see us there and see what you think, or at any of the Photiques.

If you want to join THIS blog is could be revived, let me know.
