Leaves a lot to the imagination! It reminds me of someone stuck in the mud next to a pond with a reflection on a windy day. There is even a reflecion of a rainbow.
I was wondering if the young girl was Sara or Erin but then I thought it might be you in your younger days wearing your leathers. Of course it must be you now, wearing your leathers. You had a yearning to look like you used to. So you fixed it!
It was from a black and white photo of me taken when I was about 19. I hand colored it with the smudge brush set to finger painting.
Like much of what I do, I was playing and experimenting.
I look fatter here than I really was because of the underpainting. Which makes me wider.
It actually also looks a bit like my Mom.
I started with one I'd already fooled around with, but I ought to go back to the original and add a touch of red to THAT! It was black and white.
Would love to see it some time.
